Peanut Butter Maple Cookies

 

Cream:            2 sticks of butter or margarine, softened

                        ½ c. peanut butter

                        1 c. sugar

                        1 c. brown sugar

 

Add:             2 eggs – beat well after each addition

 

Add:             1 T. Maple syrup

                        2 t. vanilla

 

Combine & Add:             2 c. flour

                                                ¾ c. quick cooking oats

                                                1 ½  t. baking powder

                                                1 t. baking soda

                                                1 t. salt

 

Stir in:            1 package chocolate chips, semi-sweet

 

Preheat the oven to 325.   Drop by heaping T. about 2 in. apart on ungreased cookie sheets.  Bake for 15 – 18 min. or until golden brown.  Cool for 1 min. before removing to wire rack to cool
