Autumn Spice Cookies  

Combine:            1 stick butter or margarine, softened

                        2 large eggs

Add:             1 (2 layer) package spice cake mix

                        1 c. quick cooking oats

Stir in:            ½ c. golden raisins

Preheat the oven to 350.  Grease the cookie sheets.  Shape dough into 1 inch balls.  Roll in a mix of ½ c. sugar and ½ t. cinnamon.  Bake for 7-9 min.  Cool on a wire rack.

Note:

This is a very stiff dough.  The cookies turn out better if you flatten them slightly on the cookie sheet before baking (as you would a peanut butter cookie with the tines of a fork).
